Honor Flight 49: 97 Veterans to visit 12 memorials in Washington D.C.

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The annual Kern County Honor Flight will be departing from Meadows Field Airport and heading to Washington D.C. Monday morning along with 17’s Kevin Charette.

On this trip, 97 Veterans will be traveling to visit 12 memorials in Washington D.C. Seven Korean War Vets, nine Cold War Veterans and the Vietnam War Veterans will be on board Honor Flight Kern County.
