Honeywell fire alarms recalled due to failure to alert risk

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Honeywell has recalled its L-Series Low Frequency Fire Alarm Sounders and Strobes due to risk of failure to alert consumers to a fire.

The recall, which affects about 29,000 units, was issued on March 14. The USCPSC reports the sounders and strobes can malfunction and cause the fire alarm system to fail to alert consumers of a fire.
