Honeywell adds GM Brazil leader Lieblein to its board of directors
MORRIS TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) -- Honeywell International Inc. said Friday that General Motors Co. executive Grace Lieblein has been elected to its board of directors.
Lieblein, 52, is president and managing director at GM Brazil. Honeywell said Lieblein is the highest ranking Latina employee in GM and is responsible for about $12 billion in annual revenues and 25,000 employees who produce and sell more than 600,000 vehicles a year under the Chevrolet brand.
She will serve on Honeywell's corporate governance and responsibility committee and the management development and compensation committee.
Honeywell said Lieblein's business acumen and experience make her a good fit for the company.
