Warrant issued for man after homicide in Monroe County
MIDDLE SMITHFIELD TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY— Pennsylvania State Police have issued a warrant for a man in Monroe County after a shooting that took place late Friday night.
According to a PSP press release, troopers responded to a shooting incident just before 11:00 p.m. at My Place Bar & Grill on the 5000 block of Milford Road.
One dead in motorcycle crash in Lycoming County
Officials say an active warrant has been placed on 30-year-old Matthew Herberto Morales from the Monroe County area.
Troopers say that it was determined that the victim, who was not identified, was struck by gunfire and later died at Lehigh Valley Pocono Medical Center.
State police note Morales is possibly armed and dangerous, if seen contact 911 immediately.
The incident is currently being investigated by the Troop N Major Case Team along with the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office.
