Good morning. I’m Randy Tucker, the residential real estate reporter at The Enquirer, and I have a question for you: Does downtown Cincinnati’s skyline really look better from the other side of the Ohio River?
You can find out for yourself at the annual Homearama showcase of luxury homes starting this weekend at the Martin’s Gate development in Newport’s Clifton neighborhood.
The Northern Kentucky development’s multistory, single-family homes and townhouses all have eye-popping views of downtown Cincinnati and the historic downtown Newport from their hillside perch.
But the views are only part of the attraction. The homes also feature the latest design trends for luxury living, including rooftop decks, spa baths and gourmet kitchens.
The luxury lifestyle doesn’t come cheap. The single-family show homes start at about $1.3 million, and the townhouses start at $750,000.
Homearama, the registered trade name of the home show produced by the Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati, is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year with its first show in Northern Kentucky.
