This historic rowhome in the Dupont Circle / Logan Circle cusp is home to a branding and creative consultant, her husband, and their soon-to-arrive baby boy. This two-year renovation began by taking the house down to just four walls, digging the basement down to allow for a full-height ceiling, and rebuilding the home from the dirt up. Kerra wanted architectural elements to be impressive but not overshadow the couple's incredible collection of artwork, so she designed a wall of lattice carpentry along the home's main staircase. From the Scandinavian leather pulls and walnut details in the kitchen, to the custom paned shower doors and live-edge shelving in the master bathroom, no detail was overlooked in this home. The black, white, and blue palette is modern and crisp, and sets the perfect backdrop for any color or style of art Kerra's clients would acquire.
