'Hollywood Game Night' sneak peek: 'Hot Superman'

He may be hot, and he may play Superman, but Tyler Hoechlin can’t leap over a troublesome Hollywood Game Night clue in a single bound.

Tuesday’s episode of the Jane Lynch-hosted NBC game show features celebrities Hoechlin (Supergirl), Pamela Adlon (Better Things), Cheryl Hines (Curb Your Enthusiasm), figure skating commentators Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir, and stand-up comedian Iliza Shlesinger.

In a round of “Scary Poppins,” the celebs have no trouble guessing song titles from clues — at first. When Lynch prompts “Infant has rear,” Shlesinger quickly answers, “Baby Got Back.” Weir only needs a moment when Lynch tells him, “Pelvis never fibs” (otherwise known as “Hips Don’t Lie”).

When it’s Hoechlin’s turn, he easily gets his first clue. But in the second round, Lynch gives him: “Female fruit spread — and he just can’t get it! (Can you?) So, he has to pump up the balloons. Will Superman burst everyone’s bubble?

Hollywood Game Night airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on NBC.
