Hollyoaks' Mitchell Deveraux lands a new date after sharing the truth about his sexuality
Hollyoaks fans could see Mitchell Deveraux move on from Scott Drinkwell next week, after taking a big step forward in his life.
Mitchell (Imran Adams) briefly dated Scott late last year, but their relationship ended when Mitchell felt unable to be honest with his family about his sexuality.
Next week, Mitchell is heartbroken when he spots Scott (Ross Adams) kissing his new boyfriend Azim Desai.
Mitchell accuses Scott of using Azim (Nav Sidhu) to make him jealous, but Scott is far from impressed by his outburst and argues back.

Back at home later on, Mitchell's mum Martine (Kelle Bryan) spots him struggling and tries her best to help, but he takes his hurt out on her with an emotional outburst.
When Martine asks her son why he's struggling so much, he finally tells her that he's gay. Martine is understanding and tells Mitchell that life is too short to not go for what you want.

Sadly, as Scott and Azim are now an official item, it seems that Mitchell may have missed his chance with the guy he originally fell for.
How will Scott react when Mitchell goes on a date with a different man instead?
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
