John Paul McQueen will receive threats after the mini-bus crash in Hollyoaks.

The teacher's drinking problem will reach potentially tragic proportions this week when he's behind the wheel for the Hollyoaks High camping trip when their mini-bus crashes, leaving lives in the balance.

In the aftermath of the crash, John Paul will have to face harsh realities as he could also be responsible for any lives lost due to his negligence. It remains to be seen whether he was drinking before the crash.

A police investigation will ratchet the pressure in Hollyoaks, and as their verdict is announced in future scenes, viewers will find out whether John Paul will be held responsible.

An explanation gathers steam that a stray bird caused the vehicle to derail, but students Charlie Dean and Mason Chen-Williams raise doubts about the official cause.
