Hollyoaks bringing back Patrick Blake actor in new role

Jeremy Sheffield will be returning to Hollyoaks — but not as notorious villain Patrick Blake.
The legendary soap actor will be back on screens later this month playing Patrick's brother Jeremy aka Jez, alongside Loose Women's Sherrie Hewson as his mother Martha.
Sienna will be left stunned when she thinks her evil father is back from the dead, only to learn that Patrick had a long-lost twin. Jez and Martha's arrival will also have huge ramifications for Sienna's siblings Liberty and Dilly as well as Patrick's ex-partner Maxine.
“I’m so excited to be back in the village and have the opportunity to play a great new character," Jeremy said. "Jez might be Patrick’s twin but he couldn’t be more different; he’s charming, enigmatic, complex and full of mystery.

“Working with the wonderful Sherrie Hewson means we get to explore even more of the famously twisted Blake family secrets.”
Hewson added: “It’s been a rollercoaster joining Hollyoaks! The character is just wonderful to play. Everyone is so lovely, such a great atmosphere to work in and so welcoming. We laugh a lot, what more could you ask for?”
Producer Hannah Cheers has promised that even more secrets from the infamously dysfunctional Blake family will be uncovered as Jez and Martha arrive.
“To be a Blake, you must be clever, captivating and charming on the outside… and calculating, cold and cynical on the inside," the producer teased. "With a family dynasty so rich in history, it should come as no surprise that there are still many secrets to be uncovered.
“But for Sienna, Dilly, Liberty and Maxine, what happens next is not what anyone could have expected….”

Jeremy most recently appeared in Hollyoaks in February as an hallucination of Patrick seen by his distressed daughter Dilly.
The actor confirmed at the time that he would be back on Hollyoaks later in the year, though he didn't let on that he'd be playing an entirely new character.
Jez and Martha Blake will first be on screens later in May.
Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 each weekday at 7.30pm. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.
