Hogan makes two judicial appointments to Harford courts

Dec. 29—Two Harford County judicial appointments were made by Gov. Larry Hogan in early December.

Alex Allman was appointed to the Harford County Circuit Court and Tracey Johns Delp to the Harford County District Court.

"The appointment of qualified individuals to serve across our state's justice system is paramount to upholding our responsibilities to the people of Maryland and the rule of law," Hogan said in a news release.

Allman is a principal at Offit Kurman, P.A., where he's been since 2004. Delp has been at the Office of Administrative Hearings as an administrative law judge since 2017. Both have law degrees from the University of Baltimore School of Law.

"I'm thrilled at the opportunity to serve the community in this way," Allman said.

Allman replaces Justice Angela M. Eaves, who was elevated to the Court of Appeals, now renamed Supreme Court of Maryland, in April. He will be sworn in in a private ceremony Jan. 12.
