Hogan launches Democratic coalition in Senate campaign

Fresh off his primary win on Tuesday, Republican U.S. Senate candidate Larry Hogan launched a coalition to court Democratic voters. The campaign, announced Wednesday, includes a new initiative called the "Democrats for Hogan Coalition," co-chaired by former Baltimore County Sen. Bobby Zirkin, D-District 11. The campaign released a video on Wednesday in which Zirkin speaks, saying: "I've been a lifelong Democrat, and as a Democrat, I'm excited to vote and support and work for Larry Hogan for the United States Senate."
