Hitchens' Last Atlantic Review Needles G.K. Chesterton
In his final review for The Atlantic, Christopher Hitchens took on G.K. Chesterton biographer Ian Ker, saying the biographer misses the point of Chesterton's poetry.

In the review, Hitchens offers his own characteristically contrary and enjoyable take on Chesterton's poetry, philosophy, and paradoxes. As Hitchens' longtime Atlantic editor Benjamin Schwartz writes in his tribute for the prolific writer and polemicist, the essay was written "in the final weeks of his life, as Ian McEwan has movingly recounted in his article in The Guardian and The New York Times about his last visit with him."
