Hit-and-run crash leaves man dead in Berclair
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is dead after he was hit by a car on Summer Avenue and North Mendenhall Road Thursday night.
Police say just before 8:30 p.m., officers responded to the Berclair area regarding a fatal pedestrian hit-and-run crash.
When officers arrived at the scene, the man had been hit by a car and the driver fled the scene, according to reports.

The man was then taken to Regional One Hospital where he was pronounced dead due to his injuries.
The suspect was reportedly driving in a gray or dark-colored four-door sedan going in an unknown direction.
Police say no arrests have been made at this time, but this is still an ongoing investigation.
