These Hinds County voting precincts have changed ahead of March 12 primary election. Check to see which ones

A few precincts in Hinds County have either changed names or changed locations.

Voters will hit the polls Tuesday to cast their ballots in the Mississippi Republican and Democratic primary elections.

Below is a list for Hinds County voters of precinct changes in District 1, 2, 3 and 4:

District 1

Precinct 46 is located at a church called Christ United Jackson. In previous elections, the church was called Christ United Methodist Church. The church is located at 6000 Old Canton Road in Jackson.

Kyle Hallman, with Chester County Voter Services, organizes mail-in ballots to be sorted for the 2020 General Election Oct. 23, 2020, in West Chester, Pa. Republicans are challenging extended mail ballot deadlines in at least two states in a move that could have severe implications for mail voting nationwide ahead of this year's presidential election. A lawsuit filed last week in Mississippi follows a similar one last year in North Dakota, both brought in heavily Republican states before conservative federal courts.

District 2

Raymond One precinct, a split precinct between districts 2 and 4, is located at Belmont M.B. Church, located at 14011 Mississippi Highway 18 in Raymond. Previously, the precinct was located at Raymond United Methodist Church at 230 Main Street in Raymond.

District 3

Precinct 59 is located at Black's Chapel M.B. Church in Jackson. The address is 3425 Robinson St. Previously the precinct was located at Word of Christ International, located at 3051 J.R. Lynch Street in Jackson.

District 4

The Byram Three precinct was formerly located at Trinity Wesleyan Church at 6950 South Siwell Road in Byram. The precinct has now moved just down the street to Lakeshore Church, located at 6880 South Siwell Road in Byram.

Raymond One precinct, a split precinct between districts two and four, is located at Belmont M.B. Church, located at 14011 Mississippi Highway 18 in Raymond. Previously, the precinct was located at Raymond United Methodist Church at 230 Main Street in Raymond.

Raymond Two precinct is also located at Belmont M.B. Church, but will be inside the church's gymnasium. The church is located at 14011 Mississippi Highway 18 in Raymond. The precinct was formerly located at Hinds Community College.

Since the Raymond One and Raymond Two precincts are located at the same place, staff assistance and signage will be posted so voters know which part of the building to go to find their correct precinct.
