Hillsboro car crash results in hospitalization, traffic delays

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A person is in the hospital after a car crash in Hillsboro late Sunday morning.

Just after 10 a.m., Hillsboro Fire & Rescue crews responded to the crash at East Main Street near 72nd Avenue.

Street racer gets 36 months for 2022 incident which killed young mother

On arrival, they managed to extricate a person from the vehicle, who was then taken to a nearby hospital.

Officials say all westbound lanes of East Main Street are blocked at Southeast Borwick Street and to expect traffic delays.

As a result, they encourage commuters to travel slowly in the area and use alternate routes, if able.
