Hilliard's Ash, Marysville's Fox, Olentangy's Wolfe selected for OCC Hall of Fame

Former Hilliard wrestling coach Ken Ash, longtime Marysville softball coach Larry Fox and Olentangy athletics director Jay Wolfe will be inducted into the OCC Hall of Fame in a private ceremony March 14, the conference announced Jan. 21.

Ash coached at Hilliard before it became Davidson. In 14 years, he won eight league titles and four district titles while coaching three state champions and 47 state qualifiers.

Fox coached the Monarchs from 1982-98 with a 288-99 record and one regional championship. He coached at Dublin Coffman for one season before returning to Marysville as an assistant, and is a member of the USA Softball of Ohio, OHSFSCA and Marysville athletics halls of fame.

Wolfe has been athletics director at Olentangy for 23 years. In his time with the Braves, Olentangy has added eight new sports.

Wolfe, who previously spent three years in the same position at Watkins Memorial, then a member of the OCC, has served as boys golf and swimming and diving liaisons for the conference as well as on the scheduling, realignment and officials committees.
