NBA-Highlights of Wednesday's NBA games

(Adds late games) Feb 11 (The Sports Xchange) - Highlights of Wednesday's National Basketball Association games: - - - - Cavaliers 113, Heat 93 Cavaliers forward LeBron James had 18 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists against his former team while Kyrie Irving had 15 points and six assists as Cleveland erased a Christmas Day loss to the Miami Heat. Kevin Love had 12 points and six rebounds, one of seven Cavs players to score in double figures, but left the game in the third quarter with an eye injury after being raked across the face. The Cavs lost by 10 points in Miami in December, but both teams looked vastly different after the Cavaliers produced two trades that overhauled their identity in recent weeks, while Dwyane Wade's hamstring injury prevented him from playing. - - Thunder 105, Grizzlies 89 Kevin Durant scored 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, leading the Oklahoma City Thunder to a victory over the Memphis Grizzlies. Oklahoma City (28-25) pulled within a half-game of the idle Phoenix Suns for eighth place in Western Conference as both teams head into the All-Star break. The Grizzlies (39-14) lost for the second time in 12 games despite 16 points and 11 rebounds for Zach Randolph. - - Warriors 94, Timberwolves 91 Stephen Curry had 25 points as the Warriors beat the Minnesota Timberwolves for their third consecutive win. Klay Thompson added 14 points for Golden State (42-9), who have won six of their last seven. Kevin Martin led the Timberwolves with 21 points. - - Celtics 89, Hawks 88 Evan Turner capped a furious Boston comeback with a floater in the lane with two-tenths of a second remaining, giving the Celtics a victory over the Eastern Conference-leading Atlanta Hawks. Boston trailed by 18 in the first half and 14 entering the final quarter before coming back to stun the Hawks. The Hawks (43-11) head into the All Star break having gone 3-3 since winning 19 successive games in a row. They are sending four players and coach Mike Budenholzer to the All-Star Game in New York. - - Raptors 95, Wizards 93 DeMar DeRozan snapped a tie with 12.9 seconds left and scored 23 points as the Toronto Raptors beat the Washington Wizards. DeRozan's 16-foot jump shot provided the winner for the Raptors, who also got 27 points off the bench from Lou Williams. John Wall scored 21 points for the Wizards. - - Spurs 104, Pistons 87 Danny Green had 19 points, including five three-pointers, and the San Antonio Spurs rolled to a victory over the Detroit Pistons. The Pacers led by as many 33 points in the fourth quarter. The Pelicans played without injured All-Star Anthony Davis and forward Ryan Anderson and point guard Jrue Holiday. - - Magic 89, Knicks 83 Nikola Vucevic scored 28 points and grabbed 18 rebounds in leading the Orlando Magic to a victory over the hapless New York Knicks. The Knicks were missing All-Star F Carmelo Anthony, who left Monday's game in Miami with a sore knee, and lost their fifth successive game. - - Bucks 111, Kings 103 O.J. Barea came through with a dominant performance that allowed the Dallas Mavericks to clip the cold-shooting Utah Jazz. Barea scored a game-high 22 points that included 15 in the third quarter and 13 in a row as Dallas hung on to what was largely a single-digit lead throughout the second half. - - Clippers 110, Rockets 95 DeAndre Jordan scored 24 points and grabbed 20 rebounds and the Los Angeles Clippers continued their recent dominance of the Houston Rockets. Forward Jamal Crawford and guard J.J. Redick scored 20 points apiece for the Clippers, who defeated the Rockets for the sixth consecutive time. NBA leading scorer James Harden managed just nine points and missed all seven of his three-pointers. - - Trail Blazers 102, Lakers 86 Wesley Matthews scored 20 points and LaMarcus Aldridge collected 18 points and 12 rebounds as the Portland Trail Blazers went into the All-Star break with a drubbing of the Los Angeles Lakers.
