Highlights: Haslett advances to district final on last-second shot in overtime

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – The high school girls basketball state tournament marched on for teams in our area teams, and the term ‘March Madness’ lived up to its name.

In Division 2, Haslett (16-7) was taking on Chelsea (18-4) and the Vikings went on to win 69-68 in overtime. Senior Jadelyn Trotter hit the game-winning shot with under ten seconds to play in overtime.

Haslett will take on rival Williamston in the district championship game after the Hornets defeated Fowlerville, 45-31.
