High Point transfer Zack Austin commits to Pitt following official visit

On Tuesday evening, Pitt earned its first transfer commitment of the offseason, as High Point transfer Zack Austin committed to the Panthers.

“I am really excited to play in front of the zoo, honestly,” Austin told Pittsburgh Sports Now. “They really showed me mad love since I went on the visit. Even when I was there, I talked to the leader of the Zoo. They were bringing that energy. It’s going to be a fun place to play at.”

Specifically, Austin told PSN that he was recruited by the Capel brothers: Jeff (HC) and Jason (Assistant).
