High heat and humidity on Thursday with chance of showers and storms
(PINPOINT WEATHER) — We had sunny skies and toasty temperatures Wednesday with highs this afternoon pushing into the upper 80s.
Thursday will likely be even warmer and more humid with highs around 90 degrees. Scattered showers and storms are expected during the afternoon with a marginal risk for severe weather with damaging winds being the primary concern.

More scattered thunderstorms are possible on Friday with more heat and humidity. The toasty and unsettled weather is expected to continue through the start of Memorial Day weekend. We’re expecting hit and miss showers and storms before drier weather returns for Memorial Day.
