Higgins, Hamlin and Wilson to get honorary degrees from Canisius

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — This weekend, three notable Buffalo names will be receiving honorary degrees from Canisius University.

During Saturday’s commencement ceremonies at Koessler Athletic Center, Shea’s President and former congressman Brian Higgins, philanthropist Mary Wilson and Bills safety Damar Hamlin will be given the honors.

During both the morning and afternoon ceremonies, Higgins will deliver the commencement address as more than 700 graduate and undergraduate degrees are conferred.
