Heritage High, Elementary Schools receive donations toward new school murals

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR)– Heritage High School and Elementary School were surprised with $7,500 donations by J. Crew in partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org to help fund renovations on their shared campus during an assembly on Friday, May 3.

The donations will be used to add murals to both school buildings, adding color and character to the schools. As a part of this project, elementary school students will have the ability to provide input on the murals, and high school students will help paint the murals.

“This donation will empower us to provide our students with a space that fosters educational excellence and inspires a sense of pride and belonging,” said Heritage High principal Tim Beatty. “On behalf of our school community, I extend our gratitude for this investment in our students.”
