Celebrities from movies, television shows and cartoons will be in Kansas City this weekend, waiting to meet and chat with fans. Among the visiting stars is “Barry” and “Happy Days” actor Henry Winkler, who is a huge Chiefs fan.

Planet Comicon, a three-day convention celebrating decades of pop culture, is at Bartle Hall for its 25th anniversary. It’s the convention’s 11th time in downtown Kansas City, where thousands of anime, comic book and pop culture fans will fill the 400,000-square-foot venue Friday through Sunday.

“I’m ecstatic to return to Planet Comicon Kansas City with my fellow castmates and celebrate the 25th Anniversary of this incredible event. Kansas City is one of my favorite cities to visit,” Winkler said in a news release. “I can’t wait to see the fans and maybe I can finally take your star quarterback up on those dinner plans we discussed. I’ll see you at Planet Comicon March 8-10.”
