Hendersonville man arrested on child rape, sexual battery charges
HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man was arrested following an investigation into child sexual abuse allegations.
The Hendersonville Police Department reportedly launched its investigation on Wednesday, May 1. The suspect in the case, 34-year-old Matthew Cody Ball, was taken into custody just one day later.

Authorities said Ball is being charged with one count of rape of a child and three counts of aggravated sexual battery.
As of Thursday, May 9, Ball was still confined in the Sumner County Jail with a composite bond of $200,000. He is scheduled to appear in Sumner County General Sessions Court on May 15.
