Help shape the future of Hanford by taking this survey

HANFORD, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The City of Hanford is seeking input from residents through a community-wide survey.

Hanford wants to hear the community’s voice regarding government services and the quality of life in the area.

“The survey will help us get a baseline understanding of our services and allow us to measure our community’s most important and immediate needs,” said Hanford City Manager Mario Cifuentez.

The survey will ask opinions regarding the economy, mobility, community design, safety, natural environment, inclusivity, and other elements of Hanford’s overall livability. The results will reveal Hanford’s strengths and areas of improvement.

The city says the data will be used to help explore a possible revenue measure for the 2024 General Election in November. The results of the survey will be shared with the City’s Revenue Measure Committee (RMC) and Hanford City Council.

“We strongly encourage all residents to take the survey. This is an opportunity for everyone in the community to share their thoughts and shape the future of Hanford,” said Cifuentez.

Officials say once the survey is completed, residents will be asked to provide their email address and ZIP code. This information is only to confirm the participant is a Hanford resident and to ensure that every voice is heard once. All responses will remain anonymous.

The survey will close in early April.
