Help the Herald set its 2024 local election coverage

Mar. 30—GRAND FORKS — What will get you to the ballot box in Grand Forks' June 11 election?

Is it

rising property taxes

? Lingering concerns about

agribusiness at the edge of town

? A hope to reaffirm the direction of the city, or express a desire for something new?

The Grand Forks Herald wants to know, and is asking for readers' help to guide its political coverage through Election Day.

What issues are most important to you this election year? What questions would you like us to ask your local candidates?

This year, Grand Forks voters will decide their next mayor, City Council, Park Board and School Board. The Grand Forks County Commission and federal offices will also be up for a primary election.

Candidates will have until 4 p.m. April 8 to formally file their candidacy to the city. The Grand Forks Herald will keep its People's Agenda survey live through the same deadline.
