6-year-old singer Heavenly Joy a breakout star at the RNC

A young girl named Heavenly Joy won over social media on Thursday as she sang at the Republican National Convention.

Heavenly Joy, 6, sang “Let There Be Peace on Earth” and “America the Beautiful” with a powerful voice as Republicans kicked off the convention’s final night, which will culminate with the nomination of Donald Trump as the GOP presidential nominee.

She is the daughter of renowned music producer Rodney Jerkins, who, according to Billboard.com, has produced records for singing greats like Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Beyoncé, among others.

The young singer gets her musical talents from both parents: Her mother, Joy Enriquez once won 11 straight weeks on the talent show, “Star Search,” Billboard reported. The music-news site covered Heavenly Joy last summer when she auditioned for “America’s Got Talent” and won over the panel of judges.

Ahead of her RNC performance, Heavenly Joy posted a video to Facebook, asking fans to pray for her. “God bless America, hope you watch me tonight,” she says waving to the camera.
