This heartfelt makeup transformation will bring tears to your eyes
Makeup artist and YouTuber Sadaf Wassan is using her beauty skills for good.
On Oct. 27, Wassan shared a video in which she transforms the look of a woman who has cancer and has lost most of her hair. Titled “The Power of Makeup!!!” the video shows how a few layers can completely transform a person’s face. Wassan defines the brows, layers on foundation, and creates an eye look for the woman.
When the woman sees the final result, she has tears in her eyes — as have fans, who have viewed the video almost a half-million times.
The makeover came together when the woman’s parents noticed that she was watching Wassan’s transformation videos on YouTube. Her parents reached out to Wassan and surprised their daughter with a makeover of her own. “She wanted to look flawless and fair[er] than her real skin,” Wassan wrote. “Her reaction at the end of the video was priceless.”
Wassan has made makeup transformations a staple of her beauty career. In addition to bridal hair and makeup, she often uses cosmetics to help women see themselves differently.
