Hearing set in Auglaize County surrounding CHIP funding

May 10—WAPAKONETA — The Auglaize County board of commissioners have scheduled a second public hearing to accept comment surrounding a proposal to seek state funding for several infrastructure projects in the village of Waynesfield.

The hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, May 20, in the office of the Auglaize County board of commissioners, 209 S. Blackhoof St., Wapakoneta.

The commissioners have announced plans to apply for $500,000 in funding through the Community Housing Impact & Preservation program to help pay for sewer improvements in Waynesfield.

Foursquare, the location-focused outfit that in 2020 merged with Factual, another location-focused outfit, is joining the parade of companies to make cuts to one of its biggest cost centers – employees – in 2024.
