Health department hosts pop-up testing on Thursday

Feb. 6—HIGH POINT — The Guilford County Division of Public Health Sexual Health Action Group will host a free pop-up testing event in High Point on Thursday in observance of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day.

The pop-up event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at the health department office at 501 E. Green Drive downtown. Services will include:

—Free and confidential testing for HIV, syphilis, chlamydia, gonorrhea and hepatitis B and C.

—PrEP Medication referrals.

—Condom distribution.

—Sexual health education.

—Local health care resources.

Services are available to all attendees, and no Identification is required.
