Quote from Volodin: "They [Russians] are already leaving their cars. Furthermore, by the way, we need to think about who to give these cars to. Maybe to the families of those boys who went to war? That would be right."

Details: Volodin expressed confidence that Russians who "flee" from conscription will later return to Russia. "They [Russians] will spend the time when they are scared then they will stand in line back across the border," he said.

He also said that Russian authorities are currently compiling lists of all those who had left.

Background:

The Russian media reported that men of conscription age will be prohibited from leaving Russia after the sham referendums.

After the announcement of conscription, huge queues with those wishing to leave appeared at the borders of the Russian Federation. Thus, since 21 September, an estimated 98,000 Russian citizens have left Russia for Kazakhstan.
