Hawaii Senator Daniel Inouye Has Died

Hawaii Sen. Daniel Inouye has died at the age of 88, The Washington Post's Ed O'Keefe reports. The Democrat was hospitalized this weekend for respiratory complications, but he was reportedly in stable condition. Inouye was a veteran of World War II (that's him in his uniform in 1959) and received the National Medal of Honor. He was the senior ranking member of the Senate, having joined in 1962 with the likes of Ted Kennedy. O'Keefe reports his last words were "Aloha."
