Hasan Minhaj adds second show March 24 at Virginia Theatre

Feb. 28—CHAMPAIGN — Comedian Hasan Minhaj has added a 4 p.m. performance to his upcoming March 24 stop at the Virginia Theatre.

Tickets for the matinee show of the "Off With His Head" tour go on sale at noon Friday, according to an announcement from the Virginia and the Champaign Park District. They can be bought at the theater's box office, online at thevirginia.org, or via charge by phone at 217-356-9063.

There is also a limited number of tickets still available for the award-winning comedian's 7:30 p.m. show. Tickets range from $49.50 to $99.50 plus an additional per-ticket processing fee of $5.00 to $10.00, Virginia director Steven Bentz said.

"Hasan Minhaj is set to entertain audiences once again with his brand-new show, 'Hasan Minhaj: Off With His Head,'" a release on the Virginia's site said. "As one of the most vital voices in comedy today, Minhaj continues to take on challenging themes like politics, parenting and therapy with irreverent wit and insight. Mr. Minhaj last appeared at the Virginia Theatre, Champaign, in March of 2022, selling out the facility at two consecutive shows."

The show is for ages 13 and up and will be a phone-free experience.
