Hartselle, Decatur schools switch to virtual instruction Friday; Lawrence, Limestone, Morgan and Athens cancel classes

Mar. 2—Hartselle City Schools and Decatur City Schools will conduct virtual learning Friday because of the threat of severe weather.

Lawrence County Schools has canceled Friday classes and postponed the school board meeting from Friday to Monday at 8 a.m. Morgan County Schools, Athens City Schools and Limestone County schools have also canceled Friday classes.

Morgan County Schools said all personnel will be excused from work Friday.
