Harry Styles inspires 11-year-old boy to paint his nails like the singer

British superstar and former One Direction band member Harry Styles is not shy about experimenting with his rock star look. From cutting his famous long locks and accessorizing to not being shy about wearing colorful nail polish, the singer is definitely a trendsetter and influencer.

For years now, Styles has been adding color to his nails.

Many fans are challenging gender norms and following in the footsteps of Styles.

Twitter user RJ, who tweets under @_lwtkiwi, shared a photo of her 11-year-old brother’s hands with dark red nail polish. She captioned the tweet, “my little brother saw a picture of harry styles with his nails painted & made me do this bc he ‘didn’t know boys were allowed’ we match now.”

The tweet has gotten more than 80,000 likes, 27,000 retweets, and almost 1,000 comments.

People have poured out support for the boy and his bold move to wear nail polish.

And others have joined the trend that Styles started, which has allowed other boys and men to feel comfortable wearing colorful nails.

RJ says her family is supportive of her little brother’s nail polish choices.

And while some worry that he might get teased, RJ says she will support him no matter what.

We applaud RJ and her little rock star brother too.
