The love for Harry Potter will reach its peak later this year when an exhibition marking 20 years since the first book was published opens at the British Library. And because putting on such an event requires plenty of talent as well as an in-depth knowledge of J.K. Rowling's wizarding world, the organisers are looking to hire a Regional Creative Producer to help develop the show.

Yep, this means one lucky Harry Potter super-fan could actually get paid to put their Hogwarts expertise to good use. Interested? Sadly, there's a bit more to it than a passion for reading about Harry, Ron and Hermione all day long.

The successful applicant will be required to expand the exhibition, billed as one of the most anticipated cultural events of 2017-18," with the British Library's partners. "We are in the process of developing a new exhibition about Harry Potter and magic which will showcase an extraordinary range of wizarding books, manuscripts, and objects to the public," the job description explains. "The British Library is offering an exciting fixed term opportunity to create a version of this exhibition that can be shared with public library partners around the UK."

Based in London, the candidate will take the lead on producing a "unique Harry Potter panel exhibition" which can be shared with 21 public libraries around the UK. This means that to be considered for the position, a "passion for the cultural sector, and direct experience of exhibition project management, including proven experience in delivery of nationwide exhibitions and managing competing demands," is essential. Experience in the library sector along with an openness to try new ways of working are also listed as preferred skills.

As for the salary? The part-time role offers £25,600 per annum, for 28.8 hours of work per week. Potential Creative Producers, with a superb knowledge of both libraries and Harry Potter, can apply here. Or if you'd rather just enjoy the exhibition, Harry Potter: A History of Magic will open at the British Library on 20 October 2017, and run until 28 February 2018. Tickets can be booked in advance.
