The New York Giants got welcome news on the injury front in the wake of their 21-0 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Saturday.

Wide receiver Dwayne Harris’ MRI on his knee revealed no damage, according to Giants head coach Ben McAdoo.

“His knee checked out fine,” McAdoo said on a conference call Sunday. “I think he’s a little bit sore, so we’ll take a look at him when he gets here (on Monday). He did have some treatment today.

Harris injured his knee when he pushed out of bounds on a punt return. X-rays performed at Ralph Wilson Stadium came back negative. He also had an MRI when the team returned to East Rutherford.

McAdoo also said that wide receiver Victor Cruz (groin) will practice on Monday as well. Cruz ran routes and participated in warmups before Saturday’s game. McAdoo said they will “limit” Cruz if necessary but that “they are going to put him back out on the field.” Cruz, who missed 26 of 32 games in the last two seasons, has not practiced in nearly two weeks.

McAdoo also said that cornerback Eli Apple (knee) and offensive lineman Justin Pugh (shoulder) “will jump back in with individuals and we’ll progress from there” beginning with Monday’s practice.

Defensive end Kerry Wynn (groin) and fullback Will Johnson (stinger) are also expected to return to practice this week.

Cornerback Leon McFadden (leg) was injured during practice and did not make the trip to Buffalo. Linebacker J.T. Thomas (hamstring) is on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list. There is no timetable for either player’s return.

Safety Mykkele Thompson suffered a concussion while making a tackle in the second quarter. Thompson, who missed all of 2015 after rupturing his Achilles tendon in a preseason game, will have to be cleared through the concussion protocol before he can return.ay
