What Happens in the Justice League Deleted Scene? Let's Guess
Despite a massive petition and an actual, real-life protest at Warner Bros. headquarters, the Justice League Blu-Ray will not feature the (almost definitely imaginary) Zack Snyder Cut of the movie. In fact, it’ll only feature one deleted scene, period.
So what single deleted scene could justify the purchase of the Justice League Blu-Ray? We have some guesses:
Kilowog and Tomar-Re visit Batman
Superman in the black costume
Superman with a mustache
Superman shaving his mustache
Lois Lane says, "I kind of liked the mustache," so Superman grows it back again
Aquaman says, "MYYYYYYYY MAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNN" six more times
Cyborg programs a personality for himself
The Flash drinks a jar of Granny's Peach Tea
Jared Leto's Joker shows up, does something twisted
Surprise cameo from the Owls of Ga'Hoole
Long sex scene set to Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah"
Jeremy Irons calls his agent to figure out why he’s in this movie
Ben Affleck calls his agent and begs to get out of this movie
A flashback where Wonder Woman says, "This is just like that time I had a crazy adventure in 1918!" and then the entirety of Wonder Woman plays
In the middle of the big climactic battle with Steppenwolf, everyone turns to the camera and just kind of stares off into the middle distance for a few minutes. Suddenly, it's not Batman and Wonder Woman and The Flash. It's not even Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot and Ezra Miller. It's people, just regular people like yourself, with hopes and dreams, walking an unknown and unknowable path that has led them here, to this moment, captured forever on film. Is this moment—which has already played in thousands of movie theaters across the globe and will soon be available in the living rooms of anyone with a Blu-Ray player or an internet connection—the closest a human being can ever get to immortality? Is this how history will remember them? They were so young once. We were all so young once
MAAAAAAARRRRRRRRTHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Which of these extremely plausible guesses is correct? We’ll find out on March 13, when the Justice League Blu-Ray hits shelves.
