Hammer-wielding suspects try to rob Rocklin Walmart, police say

(FOX40.COM) — A robbery at a Rocklin Walmart on Monday morning triggered a large police presence in the area, according to the Rocklin Police Department.

Police say that at 10:25 a.m., two suspects wearing masks and wielding hammers entered the store demanding money from the registers.

Sutter man mistakenly shoots at friends, arrested

No injuries have been reported and it is unclear if the robbers’ demands were met before fleeing.

The robbers were seen entering a black sedan without a license plate and fled towards the freeway, according to police.
