'Hallmark movie time': Bills fans are dejected on Twitter after miserable half vs. Tampa Bay
It's time for the Hallmark Channel. At least those Christmas movies about a woman who runs a small business and reunites with a high school foe who was Mr. Right all along have a happy ending and make you cry tears of joy.
The Buffalo Bills had a wretched first half against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and went into the locker room down 24-3.
A loss would drop Buffalo to 7-7 in a year that brought Super Bowl aspirations.
Buffalo's defense gave up 270 yards of offense in the first half and the Bills' offense became the first team in 30 years not to hand the ball off to a running back in the first half.
Bills fans were fed up on Twitter:
Death, taxes, and Sean McDermott's Bills losing their cool when they're season is ending

I’ve been subjected to many a depressing Bills seasons but this one has to be an all-timer. Considering what the goals were in the summer - Super Bowl champs! - to how they look now, this is pretty damn depressing. This team needs to improve in so many places. What a bummer.

Devin White just ran and jumped on Josh Allen like a contestant on the Bachelor

EVERYONE - "What's wrong with the Bills? They were supposed to be Super Bowl contenders this season!"
REALITY - Buffalo has Josh Allen, but they have nothing besides him on offense. They have no reliable RB's and their interior line sucks. They've been exposed repeatedly for it.— Schlasser (@UrinatingTree) December 12, 2021
Josh Allen, to his offensive line probably. pic.twitter.com/n0udEzQYP1

Brandon Beane tried to Money Ball the O Line. He failed miserably and now his team is doomed!

Brandon Beane did an awful job this off season! Miss evaluated the oline and hasn’t hit on any of his dline signings! Terrible!!! I think he’s a good GM but holy shit he wasted this year. Very unfortunate. #BillsMafia

Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane have some explaining to do. The roster isnt good enough and the team doesnt appear to believe in themselves any longer. Not good. #BUFvsTB #BillsMafia

Sean McDermott sending a message to the league that if he has to win the way Belichick does, he'd rather not win.
Have to commend his integrity. https://t.co/s6w7BklKTq— Jay Santos (@police_at) December 12, 2021

Belichick is so in McDermott’s head that McDermott stopped using his running backs a week later to try and make a point. Not working. pic.twitter.com/HdozsKsfnf

It’s been a week and Bill Belichick still lives rent free in Sean McDermott’s head 😂 https://t.co/7cqseekEwz
