Winter Garden-based WMG Development has started construction of a new Miller's Ale House off U.S. 27 and Park Place Boulevard. It will be the chain's fourth location in Polk County with existing restaurants in Davenport's ChampionsGate and two in Lakeland, on Lakeland Park Center and South Florida Avenue.

"We are excited to have this premier restaurant chain within our city limits,” Haines City Mayor Roy Tyler said in a press statement. “We are growing, and I am thankful for diverse dining options.”

Miller's Ale House is a Florida-based restaurant and sports bar best known for its Zingers, or boneless chicken tenders. It expects to finish construction on the Haines City site for an early 2025 opening.

"We are honored to make a positive and lasting impact on the communities in our own backyard with the development of Miller’s Ale House,” said Davey Brown, WMG's vice president of development.
