Gymnastics tour to debut at Oceanside’s new Frontwave Arena
OCEANSIDE, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — A new multi-purpose sports and entertainment venue in North County just announced it will host its inaugural public event with a tour starring the most decorated American gymnast in history.
Frontwave Arena, located at 3475 Hero Dr. in Oceanside, will set the stage for the opening show of the Gold Over America Tour on Sept. 17.
The tour is set to hit 30 arenas nationwide with a “pop concert-style spectacle showcasing athletic brilliance.”
The Gold Over America Tour stars seven-time Olympic medalist Simone Biles and features athletic performances by fellow gymnasts Shilese Jones, Fred Richard, Melanie Johanna De Jesus Dos Santos and more.
Tickets for the Gold Over America Tour are available starting Friday for group sales and will open to the general public in the spring. Presale tickets can be found at the Frontwave Arena website.
Frontwave Arena can accommodate 7,500 fans and features an expansive outdoor plaza, 16 luxury suites and an open-air patio. It will host sporting events, the San Diego Sockers, concerts, comedy shows and more.
