If at first you don’t succeed in selling your glamorous Tribeca penthouse, hawk it on your own website. That’s what actress Gwyneth Paltrow is doing with Goop, her lifestyle and all-things-GP site, which is promoting the prewar condo with oodles of luscious pictures and creative descriptions including: “It floats above the cobblestone streets like a pale, dreamy cloud.”

The three-bedroom, three-bathroom apartment first floated onto the market in March with the list price of $14.25 million, then took a $1.4 million haircut in April and is currently asking $12.85 million.

The condo features direct elevator access to the garage, which is nice for Paltrow, who has consciously uncoupled from her former spouse, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. When Paltrow and Martin were still consciously coupled in 2007, they bought the condo for $5.1 million.

A river of painted white floors flows through the condo, which also includes discreet storage in a gallery hallway, outdoor living and dining space, antique glass–paneled double doors that lead to a cozy library, and a marble island in the kitchen.

When the couple listed the home in March, StreetEasy noted that the unit features “enough marble to rival the Vatican.”

Robin Standefer, principal at Roman and Williams Buildings and Interiors, was quoted in the Goop article praising the kitchen she helped to design: “The kitchen is so modern and so special—the marble counter is intense and strong, yet somehow it works as this sensual piece.”
