Gwen Stefani Asks to 'Cut the Cameras' After Breaking Down in Tears During 'The Voice' Semifinals

Gwen Stefani couldn't help but get emotional watching her final contestant, Rose Short, belt it out during Monday's semifinals on The Voice.

The "Sweet Escape" singer was left in tears following Short's powerful, moving performance of "I Want to Know What Love Is." Stefani was so overcome with emotion that she could barely speak when host Carson Daly tossed to her for feedback -- and asked to "cut the cameras."

"I'm not ready. Oh my god, I'm crying," Stefani said, hiding her face. "That was unbelievable. I'm so in awe of you. I'm so honored to work with you."

"Cut the cameras!" she added, shooing them away from her. "Oh my gosh."

Stefani's reaction to the performance even had fellow coach Kelly Clarkson tearing up. "It was moving, that's why you're crying. You are a gift," she then said to Short. "I don't care what happens on this show, you are so blessed."

Stefani also got a little teary-eyed while speaking with ET ahead of the show. Shelton had just opened up about how his upcoming duet with her, "Nobody But You," relates to their relationship.

"I don't want to remember what I was like before Gwen, actually," he said.

"I'm a little bit of jerk to you still," he added, speaking to Clarkson. "But I was a jerk to everybody... Look how nice I am now!"

"Blake saved my life, everybody knows that," Stefani said. "Like, we're just having the time of our lives, and we never expected that this late in our lives, so we're just trying to savor every moment together, and just to be back on The Voice as well -- not to change the subject -- but working together again has been really fun, and I love being here and I love being with him."

The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays on NBC.
