What do you do after you move a football team to Los Angeles, becoming the most hated man in your home state of Missouri in the process? Apparently, you buy a $725 million ranch in a different state. That is exactly what Stan Kroenke, L.A. Rams owner, real estate mogul, and guy who married a Walmart heir, is about to do by purchasing the absurdly huge W.T. Waggoner Estate Ranch in Texas. The ranch is over 500,000 acres, bigger in area than Los Angeles and New York City combined, which means it's going to be pretty difficult for Kroenke to move it to LA, as is his wont. "We are honored to assume ownership of the Waggoner — a true Texas and American landmark — and are deeply committed to continuing the proud legacy of W.T. 'Tom' Waggoner, his family and his descendants," he said, because if there's one thing that Stan Kroenke is known for, it's continuing legacies.
