Chef, restaurateur, author, and Emmy Award winning television presenter Guy Fieri was in Tradition Square.

Who is Guy Fieri?: He's one of the world’s most recognizable and influential culinary stars, according to his website guyfieri.com. He co-owns three restaurants in California, licenses his name to restaurants in New York City and Las Vegas, and is known for hosting various television series on the Food Network.

Why was Guy Fieri in Tradition?: The Tradition community notified residents it closed its square and gazebo areas to pedestrians and traffic from Thursday to Saturday because a TV film crew was on site filming for an upcoming series.

Why were Port St. Lucie police there?: Port St. Lucie police provided security and traffic control for the event Fieri was a part of, said Sgt. John Dellacroce, a spokesperson for police.

What is Flavortown?: It's a mythical place, a state of mind, where fun and food meet in perfect harmony, according to Guy Fieri on foodnetwork.com.

Guy Fieri's spokesperson did not reply to requests for comment Friday evening.
