Gunfire from nearby woods strikes home: Mobile Police

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A home on Old Pascagoula Road was struck by gunfire early Saturday morning, according to the Mobile Police Department.

Officers were called to the 6400 block of Old Pascagoula Road around 12:45 a.m. Saturday. It was reported that a home had been struck by gunfire, according to the MPD news release.

The release said when officers arrived, they found that the shots had come from some woods near the home.

Officials said no one was injured, and this is an ongoing investigation.
