Guernsey County man to serve 30 years in prison for creating sexually explicit videos of minors

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A 56-year-old man has been sentenced to federal prison for creating sexually explicit videos of minors using hidden cameras.

Mark Green of Senecaville in Guernsey County will serve 30 years in prison on two federal charges of exploiting a minor and one count of possessing child pornography, according to the U.S. District Court of Southern Ohio. Green received federal charges in May 2023 before pleading guilty in January.

Court documents say that in 2022, Green was able to connect security cameras to his cell phone and placed hidden cameras in bedrooms and bathrooms to record minors. 60 devices were seized from his property and person with officials finding over 10,000 images and videos of sexually explicit content involving minors.

Law enforcement also found photos and videos taken with hidden cameras that were time stamped as far back as 2012. Additionally, two female victims indicated that Green sexually abused them in person.
