‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ Ride Coming to Disneyland

Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” are going to Disneyland.

Kevin Feige, head of Marvel Studios, announced at Comic-Con on Saturday that the superhero blockbuster would get its own ride at the L.A. amusement park, beginning in 2017.

Dubbed “Mission – Breakout!,” the “Guardians” attraction will take over the space previously occupied by the Tower of Terror at Disney California Adventure, and drop guests directly into the story alongside characters from the comic books and the blockbuster films.

“The incredibly talented Disney Imagineering team has found a way to harness the spirit which drove Guardians of the Galaxy’s success to create this immersive experience,” Feige said.
